Eye Make-Up: Basic 2 (The eye make-up area and the effects)

Eye make-up is one of the most important part on make-up process. Depend on the way you apply eye shadows or eyeliner, the image and the way it looks could be very different. In order to enjoy the eye make-up, this site that previously introduced in step 1 "THE JAPANESE EYE MAKE-UP BLOG" is explaining the EYE MAKE-UP AREA and ITS EFFECT in this base 2.

1. Inner corner of eyebrow and eyelid

Is the area of nose shadow extended area, and if you bring dark color for your eye make-up it will make your nose looks taller. 

If your eyes are far apart, then this will also give the effect to prevent and less look far. 

By shading off the eyebrow color in this area, it will give the effects of taller nose looking and adding a light highlighter shadow will show your eyes looks more beautiful.

2. Upper part of upper eyelash 

This is the area where you can most emphasize your eye make-up color. Using dark color will help to make your eyes look bigger. 

By using tips and put layers of eyeshadow finely over and over, the color of eyeshadow can be carried out nicely and beautifully.

3. Eye-hole Area

There are people with puffy or hollow eye-hole. Usually Japanese in general have more of puffy eye-hole. This area is where you can play with eyeshadow to make the overall make-up to be very glamorous or natural. 

If you want to have some gradation, it is recommend to use more of small blush. The gradation can give the effect of strong eyes or bigger eyes look.

4. Under Eyebrow 

By making this area bigger or lighter will give more elegant and clean-cut look. 

Using eye make-up and make this area bigger usually gives more feminine looks and when it is small, it will give more featured face like a man. 
 

5.  Corner of Eye to temple

If you put the highlight in this are, it will give more solid look to your face.

You can also put a cheek color(blusher) to give feminine look effect.  

6. Lower Eyelid 

This area is most important are if you want to make your eye look bigger by expand the area with eye make-up. 

If your lachrymal gland area is puffy, don't expand it too much because the eye make-up may not look natural.

Depend on the eye-make up in the area will give all different type of effects.
